Frequently Asked Questions:
1. How do I know if I'm ready to test?
Your instructor will recommend you for testing at least 1-2 weeks prior. If you do not hear anything, please ask your instructor to see if you are ready to test.
2. How do I register for testing?
You must register to test by filling out a testing application (in the office) and paying a testing fee.The Early Bird Registration Deadline is the Saturday before testing; otherwise it is a $5 late fee after Saturday.
3. What do I wear and bring on testing day?
Please remember to wear a clean uniform with your school patch on left side (can be purchased at the School). Don't forget your sparring equipment!! Boards are included in your testing fees and will be provided at the test.
4. Can I bring friends and family to watch/photograph/videotape?
Yes, guests are more than welcome to come and support your test. Please advise that there is no eating, cell phones, or loud talking in consideration of other guests and students at the test.
5. When do I find out if I passed?
Testing results will be posted the following Monday on our blog and at the school. The Belt Ceremony (where you will receive your new belt) will take place the following Friday during your regularly scheduled class.
